Azma International Volunteer Programs
Azma International was established to support disadvantaged communities in Africa by partnering with volunteers around the world. We offer volunteer opportunities in community projects throughout Kenya and South Africa that allow you to travel and have fun while making a difference in the community where you work. Programs run throughout the year, and our subsidized housing rates allow you to live in a comfortable African home at a low cost. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for periods of one week to six months.

Some of the outreach projects volunteers participate in include:
- Construction work
- Renovation of schools & orphanages
- Carpentry; Beds, reading desks, office equipment
- Food donation drives
- Donating educational aids (i.e., school supplies)
- Distributing sanitary materials and equipment
Azma International has developed partnerships with community organizations throughout Kenya and South Africa, with programs running throughout the year. We do our best to match your interests and skills with the needs of our partner organizations. Whether it is for one week or six months, we invite you to apply online!
We know that most volunteers want to help support poor communities in Africa, so we put your money to good use. Azma International is unique in its view that organizations should not profit from your dedication to helping others. With this in mind, we donate 100% of your registration fee to providing healthy food, educational support, and basic health services to vulnerable children in Africa. Once we accept you into one of our volunteer projects, we will design a program for you that fits your interests. Once you arrive at your volunteer placement in Africa, you will see first-hand the positive impact that you have on the community.
Azma's volunteers assist community projects in Africa, bringing with them a wide array of skills. In the past, our volunteers have performed jobs related to teaching, medicine, HIV/AIDS awareness, business practices, female empowerment, sports education, orphanage assistance, agriculture, and many others.
